My No Bake Pumpkin Pie Tartlets are full flavored + super easy: perfect for a low-stress Holiday!

I looooove to cook. But I don’t like to bake. Which is fine because I’d rather have savory than sweet. Forget cookies and cakes; I’m all about that extra dark chocolate, thank you very much.

Fennel is under appreciated. It’s distinct anisy flavor can present a challenge for the uninitiated. But wait for it. Fennel is lovely. Given the chance, it will woo you. Not with a big bang of fructose sweet or the bold assertions of the spicy, but with a slow seduction of quiet complexity: refreshing coolness with a hint of earthy sugars and just a tease of licorice.

A new favorite! My Whole Roasted Scallions were a big hit with Wonderhubs, and are sure to be a staple in our kitchen going forward. Modern scallions still closely resembled their wild onion ancestors, in both appearance and nutritional density. Wanna eat Paleo? Then definitely include scallions!
